Teddy bear bread and jam

An easy to cook meal that will make them eat while they play.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 15-20 servings

Ingredients
1 cup wholemeal flour/Plain flour
1 1/2 cup water
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup strawberry Jam
2 tsp soft butter

Utensils
Teddy Cookie cutter (or any desired shape)
A Pancake pan
A wooden flat spoon.
Rolling pin.

Method

Mix the flour ,salt and by adding water gradually, knead to make a dough.Ensure the dough is not too dry.

Make small balls of the dough and flatten into a circle using a rolling pin.

Using the cookie cutter, cut out teddy bear shapes on the dough.Try butterfly ,star,Christmas trees or even hearts.

Place the pancake pan in the stove .When it is hot ,place the shapes on the pan.Add some butter and turn over.When they become brown,remove from pan.

Apply jam on the teddies and make them like sandwiches.

Yummy Alternatives : You can deep fry the shapes for a different taste.

Try a different spread for a savoury snack.
