Raw Cherry Ice cream

Cherries and ice cream screams summer to me, but the idea of mixing cream sugar milk and other ingredients required to whip up proper ice cream is too much - not to mention being full of unnecessary sugar. To make your own sugar-free, vegan ice cream needn't be a tiresome effort, however. Here's how to do it so your kids won't know the difference, sans sugar, gluten and dairy.



Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Makes: X servings

Ingredients
Punnet of cherries
2 ripe frozen bananas
Tsp chia seeds (optional)

Required ingredients


Method
Carefully de-seed and add the cherries to a blender.

Slice off the skins and add the bananas.



Blitz until smooth.



Pour into a bowl.



Voila! You have ice cream! Top with chia seeds for a bit of crunch, texture and protein.
