Rainbow Bananas

Turn off the TV and tune into your own imagination. Enjoy each moment, allowing your creativity to unfold in the kitchen, craft space or in nature.

Decorate some fresh bananas in these rainbow sprinkles as a fun and semi healthy party treat for the little ones. You can get the children involved and they will have a great time "dressing" the bananas in their "pyjamas" and then eating them at the end.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 2-4 servings

Ingredients

2 bananas
200 grams melting chocolate
1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
4 bamboo skewers

Method

Peel the bananas and cut them in half.

PEel the bananas and insert a skewer


Insert a skewer in the end of each banana.

Dip the banana in chocolate


Melt the chocolate in a heat proof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.

Dip each banana into the melted chocolate.

Roll each banana in sprinkles


Roll the chocolate covered banana in rainbow sprinkles and set them on a tray.

Set them on a tray


Place the tray in the fridge to allow the chocolate to harden (allow around two hours).

Enjoy your colroful rainbow bananas


Enjoy eating your colorful rainbow bananas in pyjamas, as a semi healthy treat at your next party.
