A well-made dressing can make all the difference to a salad. Boring leaves are transformed into something kids want to eat, and this dressing has been tried and tested on my niece on nephew who have eaten countless salads I've whipped up with this exact dressing.
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Makes: 1/5 jar full
Ingredients 1 tsp English mustard
Half tsp ground black pepper
3 tblsp olive oil
5 tblsp balsamic vinegar
3 sprigs of fresh thyme
Pour the oil in the jar.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the jar.
Mix the dressing together and store in the fridge for up to 5 days for future use. This also makes a great rub for meat, in particular pork and chicken.
