Purple Banana Berry Breakfast Bowl

Here's a great way to make morning breakfast more fun. A bowl of this nourishing mix is sure to put smiles on your kids faces.



Admittedly this bowl of fruit and nuts is enjoyable at any time of day, but I like to serve it to my niece and nephew for breakfast because it is a balanced bowl of fibre, protein and carbohydrates, plus they love the bright colours.

Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
2 Frozen Bananas
Half punnet of Blackberries
Handful of crushed Walnuts
Tsp Raw Bee Pollen

Method
Slice the bananas into chunks.



Add to a food processor/blender along with the blackberries.



Whizz until completely smooth.



Test he consistency and enjoy a spoonful.



Pour into a bowl.



Top with bee pollen and nuts of your choice. I vary between walnuts and crushed almonds.



Almonds are one the nuts highest in protein and lowest in fat. They're also one of the sweeter nuts, which go down a treat with kids.

This bowl of nutrients is sweet, crunchy, and bright - a great mix of textures and flavours to ensure clean bowls and happy tummies.
