Smoothies are a great way of getting fibre into kids - here's a nourishing fruity one, which always puts a smile on both my niece and nephew's little faces.
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Makes: 2 servings
Ingredients
1 banana
200ml Jersey milk
3 strawberries
Handful of frozen blueberries
Method
Hull the strawberries and peel the banana.
Place all ingredients in the blender.
Whizz until smooth - if your kids prefer it smoother add more milk, if not, keep the quantities as above.
Pour into glasses and drink.
This is definitely a more fun start to the day.
