Peanut butter chocolate dessert square
Photographer and writer.
This homage to the Reese’s Peanut Butter cup is so creamy and deliciously rich. Best of all, it’s super easy to make!
: 12 minutes
: 7 minutes
: 18 servings
2 cups chocolate chips (one bag)
½ cup butter
1 1/3 cups peanut Butter
2 cups icing sugar
2 cups Rice Crispies
Stir chocolate chips and butter on medium heat until melted.
Add peanut butter and continue to mix until blended and creamy.
Remove from heat. Add icing sugar and mix until smooth.
TIP: add icing sugar one cup at a time, mixing in between each cup. This will allow the sugar to blend more easily.
Add Rice Crispies and mix.
Spread in a cake pan. I used a 9½ by 13 inch cake pan, but you can use a smaller pan if you prefer thicker squares.
Allow to cool in the fridge four hours or over night.
