2 tablespoons caster sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 1/2 cup plain flour
Preheat the oven at 170 degrees celsius.
Place the butter and sugar in a bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until creamy.
Add the orange juice and beat through.
Add the plain flour and mix until well combined.
Roll the mixture into a dough ball. Place the dough ball on a lightly floured cutting board and roll out to 5-10mm thick.
Use cookie cutters to cut the desired shapes from the shortbread dough. Place these on a lightly greased baking tray and bake at 170 celsius for 10-20 minutes, or until the shortbreads are light golden and cooked through.
