This is a recipe given to me by my German mother, so I would therefore assume it is a German recipe.
It is a great one to make when you do not know what to cook, or for a light meal, and being slightly sweet, many children will also like it.
Serve it on its own, or with a salad however I always have it on its own.
It is quite a unique flavour as noodles are usually savoury.

: 3 -4 servings
125 g egg noodles
¾ tart apple
1 tbsp oil
½ tbsp semolina
¼ cup sultanas
¼ cup sugar
¼ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp lemon juice
15 almonds, chopped (optional)
Preheat oven to low.
Boil the noodles as per packet instructions.
Meanwhile, chop up apple, almonds, and get sultanas ready.
Drain noodles, put in oiled baking dish, and add all other ingredients.
Bake on low for about 1 - 1 ½ hours till top is slightly brown.
