Ingredients 100 grams butter
200 grams milk chocolate
3 tablespoons golden syrup
225 grams sweet biscuits, crushed
225 grams Maltesers (3/4 for the slice mixture, 1/4 for topping)
Chop the milk chocolate into small chunks.
On the stove, melt together the chocolate, butter and golden syrup. Stir until everything is melted and smooth, being careful not to burn the chocolate. Remove the mixture from the heat.
Add the chocolate mixture to the crushed sweet biscuits and mix until well combined.
Take 3/4 of the Maltesers. Either add them whole to the mixture, or chop some or all of them in half and add those. I used a mixture of whole and halved Maltesers in this recipe, because leaving all of the Maltesers whole would have made a deeper slice than I was after.
Fold the Maltesers through the slice mixture.
Line a slice tray with silver foil. Press the Maltesers slice mixture evenly into the tray.
Take the remaining 1/4 of the Maltesers and press them into the top of the slice.
Allow the slice to set in the fridge, then lift it out of the tin and chop it up.
