Lemon butter basa fillet
Enjoy this underrated fish, with it's delicate flavour, and easy to cook nature, it is very similar to cod, but a whole lot cheaper, so it's a great buy for the family.
: 5 minutes
: 20 minutes
: 2 servings
Handful of spinach
2 basa fillets
Tsp black pepper
Line the baking tray with parsley
Add the fish, grate over the lemon zest and add the knob of butter.
Place in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees/gas mark 4.
Remove the fish from the oven and add the spinach on either side. Place back in the oven for 5 minutes.
Halfway through grilling drizzle the honey on top of the fish and place back under the grill for the last 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and plate up.
Serve with rice if you like, but if your whole household is on a health-kick, this is great simply with butter spinach, as pictured.
