Bream is a naturally meaty and rich fish, so don't spoil it by over-seasoning; it only needs a few herbs to bring out the delicious flavour and turn into a dish loved by all the family.
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 50 minutes
Makes: 4 child servings
Ingredients
1 bream fillet
2 carrots
Half a red cabbage head
1 garlic clove
Half tsp black pepper
Tsp dried parsley
Tsp dried thyme
2 Tblsp groundnut oil

Required ingredients
Method
Wash the fillet and stuff with the seasoning.
Drizzle the fillet with oil, place in a baking dish and place in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees/gas mark 4 and cover with a lid.
Slice the carrots into equally sized 'fingers' along with the cabbage and garlic.
Place the carrots and cabbage in a saucepan of water and simmer for 10 minutes.
The carrots will be stained purple (which kids love), transfer along with the garlic to the pyrex dish, and set the cabbage aside.
Place back in the oven for 20 minutes.
Gently pull the meat off the bones and serve.
