This recipe was entirely my 7 year old daughter's own creation using leftovers from a Halloween party. Prevously I have been hestitant about letting my kids create things in the kitchen, but it has lots of benefits. It helps their imaginaton and understanding of what ingredients work together. It's also a good self-esteem boost for them when the recipe works well. This one did - everyone who has tried it agrees the combination of flavours and textures is brilliant. The one down-side of letting them experiment is that volumes are often unmeasured - this makes it hard for me to write the recipe down afterwards. However, I have worked backwards as best as possible to detail it here.
