Eating a healthy snack for kids is as important as any meal of the day. Although kids love to munch on all the sugary and unhealthy snacks, it can be challenging to sneak in all the good stuff in these snacks.These fudgy balls are perfect option for a healthy snack for the whole family and they taste good as well.
Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Makes: 10-12 servings
Ingredients
2 cups of pitted dry dates
3 tbsp of desiccated coconut
3 tbsp of cocoa powder
2-3 tbsp of peanut butter
2-3 tbsp of ground LSA (linseed, sunflower, almond)
2 tbsp dessictedd coconut for rolling
Method
Soak the dates in 1/2 cup of warm water for 10 mins.
Mix the dates and all the ingredients in a mixer till all is combined.
If you find the mixture too soft you can always add more of the desiccated coconut or LSA.
Keep the mixture in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.
Roll in balls with your palms and then roll in the desiccated coconut.
Note- If you are using medjool dates then you do not need to soak them in water.
