Eggless Orange Cookies
This is my version of cookies without eggs.They are really tasty. My one year old asks for more whenever I make them.
: 20 minutes
: 15 minutes
: 20 servings
4 Tbsp butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup all purpose flour
Orange jam for filling
Pinch of salt
1 Tbsp chopped nuts
Preheat the oven to 325 F/160 C.
Beat the butter and sugar. The butter should be at room temperature.
Peel and separate the orange segments and place in a bowl. Remove any white pith. Add the butter and sugar cream into it.
Add the chopped nuts into the bowl.
Now add the flour and a pinch of salt.
Knead to form a soft dough.
Make small balls from the dough.
Place the balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Press the centre of the cookie ball.
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let it cool.
Fill the center with 1 teaspoon of orange jam.
The cookies are ready. Enjoy!
