Great option for a mid-meal snack. Great starter at kids parties. I haven't met a person yet who does not like these easy to make starters
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 6-8 minutes
Makes: as many as necessary
Ingredients
Turkish loaf gives best results, but any bread will do
Butter
Garlic powder or crushed garlic
Dried Italian herbs or dried parsley
Salt and pepper
Method
Cut the bread vertically or horizontally. If its for kids I would prefer making smaller pieces.
Melt some butter and add the garlic powder and salt. Leave out the salt if the butter is salted.
Apply on the bread and arrange on the wire rack
Season with pepper and herbs.
Grill in the oven for 6-8 minutes
Enjoy the garlic bread with dips or as it is.
Optional : Shredded cheese on the bread before grilling it can add to the yummyness of this bread!
