Salmon is a very nutritious and delicious food. This is also a simple, easy and scrumptious recipe that you can help kids try making for themselves.
Preparation Time: 2 hours or overnight
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 1 serving
Ingredients
200g salmon fillet, with skin on
1/2 -1 tbsp Char Siu/Chinese BBQ Sauce
fish sauce to serve
chive/spring onion to garnish
Method
Cut and place a cling wrap on a plate.
Place the salmon fillet on the cling wrap.
Brush BBQ sauce onto the salmon fillet thoroughly.
Put into fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Place the marinated salmon onto the roast tray lined with baking paper, with skin facing down first.
Bake in oven for 5 minutes.
Remove. Flip to another side so that skin is now facing up.
Bake in oven for another 5 minutes until skin is golden brown and crisp.
Garish with chives or spring onion.
Drizzle with few drops of fish sauce.
Serve immediately with salad and baked kale.
