This recipe is very tasty and perfect for an older child to prepare for the family dinner (perhaps with a little adult supervision). It is a nourishing and wholesome meal, which will leave your guests impressed and satisfied. We used fresh smoked salmon, however the recipe would work just as well with tinned red salmon.
550 grams pasta
1 red onion (finely chopped)
30 grams unsalted butter
200 grams smoked salmon
1 large handful of fresh parsley
150 ml cream
2 tablespoons wholegrain mustard (Optional)
2 teaspoons freshly cracked pepper
4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
Smoked Salmon, cream and parsley
Cook your favorite pasta, drain and set it briefly aside.
Fry the onion
Melt the unsalted butter in a fry pan and add the finely chopped red onion. Fry until the onion turns translucent.
Add the cream
Pour in the cream, wholegrain mustard (optional), and a little water.
Add the parsley
Finely chop the parsley and add it to your creamy sauce.
Add the salmon
Slice the smoked salmon and add this to the creamy sauce.
Add the cooked pasta, so that the creamy sauce coats each individual pasta piece, then serve into individual bowls and garnish with freshly cracked black pepper and grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy your meal.
