Ingredients 1 cup of white quinoa
3 Tbsp of Nesquik (or any preferred chocolate flavoured drinking powder)
2 cups of water
1/2 cup of vanilla yoghurt
In a small pot, mix the Nesquik with water until powder is dissolved.
Add the quinoa to the chocolate water.
Bring to the boil then simmer on medium heat for 12-15 minutes. Quinoa becomes slightly translucent when cooked. (The longer the quinoa is left to cook the more of the chocolate flavour will be absorbed)
Drain the quinoa with a strainer and add into a bowl.
(You can use the chocolate liquid for a nutty hot chocolate, just add milk!)
Mix the vanilla yoghurt together with the quinoa and serve! (Add more or less yoghurt according to desired consistency).
Sliced banana is a yummy addition to chocolate quinoa porridge!
