A juice to protect little ones against the common cold is a recipe you'll want to keep. This is a surprisingly sweet drink that tastes and does good.
Preparation Time: 3 minutes
Makes: 2 small glass servings
Ingredients Cube of turmeric root
Cube of ginger
Half a lemon
Half an apple
Chop the ingredients to size - so they fit through the juicer chute.
Repeat with the apple.
Push all the ingredients through the juicer.
Pour into glasses and serve.
This juice doesn't yield much, but it's a nutrient-dense juice, which is fantastic for digestive health thanks to the turmeric, protective thanks to the ginger, cleansing thanks to the lemon, and sweet enough to be tasty to drink thanks to the apple, bottoms up!
