The most indulgent dairy-free, vegan smoothie is here! I've created a nutritious smoothie, full of fibre and sweet in taste - kids love this (tried and tested on my nephew).
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Makes: 2 kid servings
Ingredients
1 banana
1 avocado
100ml coconut milk
Tsp cinnamon
Tsp sunflower seeds
Method
Place the seeds in a small jar of water and leave to activate for a few minutes whilst you make the smoothie.
Slice the avocado in half.
Peel the banana and add to a blender along with the remaining ingredients.
Pour into glasses and top with the activated sunflower seeds for crunch and added protein.
Alternatively pour into a small tub and take with you on your journey (it makes a great snack in the car).
