Chocolate Cornflake Crispies

These chocolate cornflake crispies are quick and easy to make. There are only a few steps and no oven is required so they are ideal for kids to make themselves. Decorate with mini eggs to make a fun Easter treat.

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 10 mins plus chilling time
Makes: 12 servings

Ingredients
250g chocolate
100g cornflakes
50g butter
3 tablespoons golden syrup
Mini chocolate eggs to decorate

Method
Melt the chocolate, butter and golden syrup together in the microwave, heating gently and stopping as soon as the chocolate starts to melt.

Ready to microwave


Stir in the cornflakes.

Spoon into decorative baking cases.
Decorate with a mini chocolate egg.
Pop into the fridge to chill.
