Buzzing Beepollen Smoothie

If you're a vegetarian parent and you're worried about your children getting enough protein, bee pollen is the answer. It's a little known miracle, that has gram for gram, more protein than beef or chicken. It also tastes like earthy tiny nuggets of honey.

To make this you will need a juicer and either a hand held blender or normal blender.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 3 servings



The ingredients

Ingredients
2 oranges
1 apple
3 amla
1/2 avocado
1 small banana
2 tablespoons of bee pollen

Method
Peel the oranges, chop the apple and chop the amla.

Put through the juicer.

Transfer the juice to a large jug if you are using a handheld blender, so it does not splash over the top or now put in the blender jug if you have one and add the banana.


Add banana


Then add the bee pollen


Add banana


And finally add the avocado


Add banana


Blend with the handheld food processor for 2 minutes or now turn on your blender to normal speed for 2 minutes for a smooth outcome.


Add banana


Once blended, serve in a glass, or plastic cups for the kids, enough for three little ones.
