A quick, effortless and delicious pudding that can be whipped up for dessert when you only have the staples in the cupboard or your feeling like something sweet!
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Makes: 6 servings
Ingredients
batter:
1 cup of self-raising flour
3/4 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of milk
60g of melted butter
Butterscotch sauce:
30g butter, chopped
2 tbsp of golden syrup
1 1/2 cup of boiling water
Method
Preheat oven to 180 C fan-forced.
Mix all batter ingredients together and pour in to greased baking dish. (I used a square cake tin)
Place all sauce ingredients in a bowl and stir until butter has melted. Allow to cool slightly before pouring on top of batter.
Bake pudding for 30-35mins or until skewer comes out clean.
Serve with ice-cream! Delicious
