Butter and Spice Spinach
Spinach can be transformed with the right seasoning. Here's a quick and easy way of getting the fibrous leaf into your kids meals.
: 5 minutes
: 2 servings
Bunch of spinach
Tsp ground cinnamon
Handful fresh rosemary
Half tsp black pepper
Add the spinach, butter, rosemary and pepper to a hot pan.
Add the cinnamon and combine. Cook for 2 minutes over a medium-high heat.
Pour in the orange juice.
Cook for a further 3 minutes until wilted and tender.
Serve as a side dish, or as part of a salad. It works particularly well with North African dishes - as my sister recommended when she served this with tagine, which her kids scooped up!
