Just like chocolate freckles these sweet treats will tempt both small and big fingers. They need to be eaten on the day that they are made as bananas have a tendency to go brown once peeled.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 24 freckles
Ingredients
4 bananas
200g cooking chocolate
100s and 1000s
Method
Chop banana into bite size portions and place on a plate covered with greaseproof paper.
Melt chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water.
Stir gently until the chocolate has completely melted and is glossy.
Once chocolate has melted place a teaspoon of chocolate on top of each banana piece.
Leave for 5 minutes at room temperature to let the chocolate harden slightly.
Sprinkle over 100s and 1000s and place in fridge for the chocolate to completely harden.
